How we collect, store, and protect your data.

What we collect

Applic collects the information needed to create and manage chemical application records. This may include your name, email address, GPS coordinates, chemical application details, landowner contact details, weather information, and device information such as browser, operating system, and approximate network metadata.

GPS coordinates and field records are collected when you choose to create a record, capture a location, or save an application. We only ask for information that supports the service, audit history, notifications, account administration, and compliance record keeping.

How we use it

We use your information to provide Applic, generate chemical application and compliance records, maintain your searchable archive, send landowner notifications, support account access, and improve reliability and safety of the service.

We may also use operational data to diagnose errors, protect the service from misuse, and communicate with you about important account, billing, security, or product updates.

Data storage

Applic stores production data using AWS infrastructure in the ap-southeast-2 region. Application records are retained for a minimum of 3 years to support record keeping obligations under the Pesticides Regulation 2017.

Some records may need to be retained even after an account change or deletion request where legal, audit, dispute, or compliance obligations require continued retention.

Third parties

Applic uses trusted third-party services to operate the product. AWS SES is used for email delivery, Open-Meteo is used for weather data, Google Maps is used for location and address features, and Stripe is used for subscription payments.

These providers process information only as needed for their role in delivering the service. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by Applic.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion of information we no longer need to retain.

Deletion requests are subject to legal retention requirements, including the obligation to preserve chemical application records for the required record keeping period.
